Back to Congo – ACTS29 returns to a true classic in the heart of Africa!
This autumn, new adventures await in the country with its red soil and rich missionary history!

Welcome to Congo-Brazzaville, or the Republic of Congo as the country is actually called. Acts29 has previously arranged three schools in the country, in 2008, 2010 & 2018.
It´s a place where Swedish missionaries have worked since 1909. To this day, hundreds of Swedes have lived in the country and worked side by side with the sister church “Eglise Evangelique de Congo”, EEC. This makes Congo-Brazzaville one of the most deeply rooted countries in our church’s relationships.
The collaboration with Acts29 is part of the long and important relationship between our countries. The church has congregations all over the country and they are just as eager as we are to visit them with the school team during the internship.
An adventure
The school in Congo involves treks through jungles and a life that, in our eyes, is simple. It will challenge you and give you friends for life. But above all, it will give you time and tools to explore your faith. Our starting point is that God is the same today as when the first disciples lived. Apg29 is a place where we want to give God time to show who he is and what he wants to do in our lives. You will grow in a way you have never done before, that much we can promise you.
School 2026

During the three months in Congo you will live together with about 30 young people from several different countries. The days at the base will be filled with fellowship, teaching, workshops, food, activities, devotions, etc. During the weekends you are part of a team that has a “home church” in one of the local churches. There we get to know and get close to the everyday life of Congolese families. For three whole weeks, spread out during the autumn, we travel on weekly internships. They will be located in different regions of the country. During the internship we get to know a lot of fantastic people and help with different things. Our church in Congo is large. Around 700,000 people (15% of the country's population) see it as their church.
