New Adventures in the Andes Mountains and the Amazon
Ecuador has hosted Hechos29 School 13 times since its founding in 2004, making it the most iconic destination of the program and we truly love Ecuador! Since the early 1970s, Equmenia has partnered with the Iglesia del Pacto Evangélico del Ecuador (IPEE), a church with congregations throughout the country. Together, we share a passion for missions and a desire to strengthen local communities. During the outreach weeks, we will visit several of these congregations, serving and learning alongside the school team.

The School
The school will start at the end of August 2026. The Nordic participants and leaders will start on August 17th with a few introductory days at Karlskoga Folkhögskola. After that, we will travel together to Quito and from there to the school's base. The final location of the base is still to be confirmed, but we are considering several incredible places in Ecuador that will provide the perfect setting for this experience.

A School for the World
Acts29 is an international and multicultural discipleship school. We invite young people from different countries to share this journey together. You will live in community with approximately 40 participants, typically representing between 5 and 7 nationalities. We will also receive teachers from various countries, further enriching the training experience.

On weekends, you will be part of a team traveling to serve in local churches in partnership with the Iglesia del Pacto Evangélico del Ecuador (IPEE). In addition, once a month we will have a full week of intensive missions in the Ecuadorian Highlands and the Amazon region, where we will serve, learn, and experience everyday life alongside Ecuadorian families.
